検索方法

Explanation

This database includes information for natural history specimens (animals, plants, fungi, rocks, minerals and fossils) preserved in Chiba prefectural museum.

Operating procedure

1. Choose the institute name.

2. Select the taxa (animals, plants, fungi and fossils) or division (rocks, minerals and other geological specimens) code.

3. Enter words or numbers for each item.

Functional explanation

It is possible to search for all specimens in a genus under the item “Scientific Name” by using a system of partial agreement retrieval.

For example, in the fish section (ZF), entering “Eviota” will result in data on all Eviota ”species (e.g. Eviotaabax, Eviotafasciola, Eviotaprasina ) being shown.

Each item can accept multiple key entries as follows.

And possible to choose "AND" or "OR" pulldown.

If Select "AND", Entering “ Eviota abax” at “Scientific Name” will result in all data on Eviota abax being shown.

If Select "OR",Entering “Eviota Trimma” at “Scientific Name”will result in all data on genera Eviota and Trimma being shown.
